Product Reviews!!

Well folks I'm getting ready to head out for the weekend and I wanted to do a couple product reviews for you and also remind you to enter my giveaway (which ends this Tuesday, September 8th).. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend & a fun and safe Labor Day! For those of you off work.. ENJOY IT! I know I will :o)

Now onto the reviews:

Clean&Clear's Morning Glow Facial Moisturizer

I have been looking for a good facial moisturizer for awhile and I think I found a winner. This stuff cost me about $6, so that was a major bonus, too. I don't have super oily or super dry skin, so I was just looking for something to keep my skin looking healthy and ensure that it doesn't get dry in the winter. This stuff says it "instantly brightens skin" and moisturizes. It also has SPF15 in it which is great since I always forget sunscreen. When I put it on, it definitely did brighten up my face - and it has a nice consistency, doesn't feel greasy at all since it is oil-free .. that was a big plus for me. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and will continue to use this product :) I got it at Target but you can find it at any drug store, as well. If you're looking for a simple moisturizer with no-frills .. this one does the trick.

Caress Glowing Touch Body Wash

Unlike my mom, I have been "over" the whole Bath&Body Works Shower Gel phase for quite some time. I'm about sick of the same old scents she continues to buy and they do nothing for my skin in terms of moisturizing. I decided to go out and look for a new body wash and I came up with this. It says it's a "silkening body wash" and the fact that it had shimmers in it was intriguing to me. Plus for $5.. the bottle is frickin' huge. The smell of this is amazing - if I could imagine "glow" to be a smell, this is it. It's a mixture between like citrus and vanilla, really delish. My skin feels MUCH softer than it usually does after I get out of the shower, and I left the body butter out of my routine today just to test this stuff. Although my skin isn't shimmery (also not really a huge concern to me), this stuff is really good if you need a little extra moisture in your skin. Plus, it definitely softens - there is no doubt about that. It comes in a couple different "scents" so I think once this one runs out, I'm going to pick up the berry kind :) Definitely a good find. Also got this at Target, but I'm sure you can pick it up at drug stores, too..

Forever21 Lip Vial in Light Pink

Now, the only reason I got this color was because there was a cupcake charm on it, but they do have a variety of colors available. This little sucker was only $1.50, and the packaging is ADORABLE. The product however, notttt so much. I mean, it's lip gloss.. it makes your lips shiny, but it has the texture that I absolutely DESPISE. It's hard to explain, but it's almost oily. When you dip the spongey tip in, you don't get a whole lot of product because it's so thin. The color in the bottle looks almost irridescent but this wasn't really the effect I got on my lips. This makes me question if getting a darker color would even be worth it since you'd probably have to apply several coats to even get a hint of tint. Like I said, it does make your lips shiny - but it's not worth running out and buying. For $1.50.. it's a cute addition to my purse and will work in emergencies. Other than that.. meh.

Hope you enjoyed the reviews.. lemme know if you've tried any of these!
Have a great weekend, loves!
